President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune signed an ordinance amending and supplementing the organic law relating to the electoral regime, extending by 5 days the deadlines for submitting candidacy files for the legislative elections of June 12, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
“At the request of the Independent National Election Authority (ANIE), after consultation with the Council of State, the Constitutional Council and advice of the Council of Ministers, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, signed an order amending and supplementing Ordinance 21-01, of 26 Rajab 1442 corresponding to March 10, 2021, on the organic law relating to the electoral regime, for the extension by 5 days the deadlines for submitting candidacies for the legislative elections of June 12, 2021 “, specifies the press release.
“Thus, the current deadline for the submission of application files is set for April 27, 2021 instead of April 22, 2021”, concluded the same source.
