President of the Republic had a phone call with his French counterpart

The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had today, Saturday, a phone call with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, during which they discussed bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common interest, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.

The statement said: “Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had a phone call with the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, in which they discussed bilateral relations, stressing their determination to deepen them, especially with the convergence of the two presidents’ views and their great agreement to push these relations to an excellent level.” Especially after the reelection of President Macron for a new term.

The phone call also allowed – the statement adds – to review “several files, foremost among which are the situation in Libya and in the Sahel region, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest”.
