President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, had a phone conversation this Thursday with President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, to whom he expressed his thanks for the medical care he had received since his arrival in Germany, according to a statement by the Presidency of the Republic.
German President, on his part, “addressed to President Tebboune his wishes of health, prosperity and progress to the Algerian people,” added the statement.
On this occasion, Tebboune and Steinmeier spoke on “bilateral cooperation and on prospects for its promotion in all areas, in the best interests of the two countries “.
Furthermore, «German President officially invited the President of the Republic to visit Germany. Tebboune thanked him and accepted the invitation”.
The visit will be scheduled when the pandemic is over, the statement concluded.
