The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held this Monday afternoon private talks with the Italian Prime Minister, Mr. Mario Draghi, who is on a visit to Algeria.
Earlier on, the President of the Republic had singled out the guest of Algeria with an official reception at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic.
It is worth noting that the Italian Prime Minister had embarked, earlier today, on a visit to Algeria at the invitation of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, where he was greeted upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, and members of the government.
This visit falls within the framework of “strengthening relations of cooperation between the two countries,” according to a statement issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
