President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune observed Monday a minute of silence at 11 o’clock and recited Al-Fatiha, the first chapter of the Holy Qur’an, in memory of the martyrs of 17 October 1961 massacres.
The ceremony took place at the headquarters of the presidency of the Republic, in the presence of advisors to and officials at the presidency.
