President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolences to the Zambian President, Mr. Edgar Lungu, following the death of Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, former President of the Republic of Zambia, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
The press release stated: “The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a letter of condolences to the Zambian President, Mr. Edgar Lungu, following the death of Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda, former President of the Republic of Zambia, in which he expressed to him, in his name and on behalf of the Algerian people, his deepest affection and sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and to the Zambian people The President Tebboune praised, on the occasion, the distinguished struggle path of a friend of Algeria, one of the great African leaders, and his role in the struggle to liberate Africa from the clutches of colonialism.
