President of the Republic, Commander-in-chief of Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, sent a message of condolences to the family of the late Major General Djamel Bouzid and to the entire family of People’s National Army.
In a letter of condolences, President of the Republic wrote:
“give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, who say, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return” (Quran)
I received with pain the news of the passing of late Major General Djamel Bouzid, after a terminal illness that forced him to bed.
President of the Republic added: “Following this tragedy, I extend to the family of the deceased and the whole family of People’s National Army, the descendant of the National Liberation Army, with my sincere condolences, asking Allah Almighty to bless him with his wide mercy, dwell in his vast gardens, and inspire his relatives beautiful patience and solace.
“To Allah we belong, and to Him is our return”
