
President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, ordered, today, Sunday, during his presidency of the Council of Ministers, the expansion of the barite exploration map to the provinces of the far south, according to a statement of the Council of Ministers.
The statement indicated that the President of the Republic, after hearing a presentation by the Minister of Energy and Mines on barite development projects in Algeria, ordered “the expansion of the barite exploration map to the provinces of the far south.”
In the same context, the President of the Republic stressed the need to “build secondary and temporary lanes for trucks with a tonnage of more than 20 tons, transporting the products of the Ghar Djebilet mine towards the north, in order to preserve the paved road, pending the completion of the railway line.”
