President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today, Wednesday, a phone call from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in which he expressed his compassion for the martyrdom of citizens and offered sincere condolences on his name and on behalf of the Qatari people, according to a statement by the Presidency of the republic.
The statement said: “The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today a phone call from his brother, His Highness, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in which he expressed his compassion for the martyrdom of citizens, offering sincere condolences on his name and on behalf of the Qatari people.”
Emir of Qatar assured the President that “all the means of his country are put at Algeria’s disposal.”
For his part, “the President of the Republic thanked His Highness the Amir of Qatar for his noble position and for his country’s support for Algeria,” according to the same source.
