President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received today, Monday, at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Ayman Mosharafa, who paid him a farewell visit after the end of his mission in Algeria.
The Egyptian ambassador thanked the President of the Republic and the Algerian authorities for all the facilitation and cooperation in the service of the two brotherly peoples and the common interests of the two countries.
After the meeting, the Egyptian ambassador made a statement to the press, in which he said: “I was honored today to meet the President of the Republic, despite his many duties” stressing that this meeting was “rich and fruitful,” in which he listened to the President view on “issues of common interest in the regional and international landscapes” “.
Mr. Mosharafa explained that the meeting reflects “the distinction of the Egyptian-Algerian relationship, which we aspire to advance to the highest horizons,” adding that, on the same occasion, he renewed the President’s invitation to visit Cairo “in the near future.”
The Egyptian ambassador wished well to the Algerian people, whom he described as “generous and hospitable.”
