President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received, today, Wednesday, Abdullah Al-Lafi and Moussa Al-Koni, the two Vice-Presidents of the Libyan Presidency Council, who are on a visit to Algeria at the head of an important delegation, according to a press release issued by the Presidency of the Republic.
According to the same source, the meeting was “an opportunity to review the latest developments in the Libyan issue, especially the conduct of the transitional phase in accordance with the agreed-upon roadmap.”
On this occasion, the President affirmed “Algeria’s unlimited support for the Libyan brothers in rebuilding the Libyan state in a manner that preserves its sovereignty and unity,” reiterating “Algeria’s readiness to embrace national reconciliation meetings, in response to the request of the Libyan brothers.”
For their part, “the members of the Libyan delegation thanked the President of the Republic for Algeria’s position and its constant readiness to extend a helping hand to the brotherly Libyan people.”
