President of the Republic sends an invitation to Jordanian King to participate at Arab Summit in Algeria

Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Abderrachid Tabi, was received, Thursday in Amman (Jordan), in his capacity as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, by the King of Jordan Abdallah II, to whom he gave the letter of invitation sent by the President of the Republic to participate in the work of the Arab summit, scheduled for next November in Algiers, said a press release from the ministry.

“The Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, Abderrachid Tabi, was received Thursday in Amman (Jordan), in his capacity as special envoy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, by His Majesty the King of Jordan Abdallah II,” the statement said.

During this audience, “Mr. Tabi presented the Hashemite sovereign with the letter of invitation addressed to him by his brother, President Tebboune, to participate in the work of the Arab summit, scheduled for November 1 and 2, 2022 in Algiers, and conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic as well as his desire to strengthen consultation and political coordination between Algeria and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and to promote bilateral cooperation relations in all areas, in the best interests of both countries and of the two brotherly peoples”.

The Minister of Justice affirmed “to His Majesty the King that Algeria is entirely ready to host the next Arab summit and that all the conditions are met for the success of this important Arab meeting which is intended to be a favorable opportunity to unify the Arab ranks and promote joint Arab action,” the same source continued.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan “has instructed Mr. Tabi to convey his warm greetings to the President of the Republic”. Welcoming “this kind invitation”, the Hashemite sovereign expressed his availability to participate in the next Arab summit in consideration and in support of the laborious efforts made by Algeria for the unification of Arab ranks and the strengthening of cooperation and solidarity in the Arab world”, concludes the same source.
