President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stressed, whilehe presided today, Sunday, over the cabinet meeting, the need to give “extreme and exceptional” importance to the integrated phosphate production project, according to a cabinet statement.
The statement clarified that the President of the Republic, after hearing a presentation regarding the progress of the integrated phosphate production project, instructed “the necessity of devoting great and exceptional importance to a careful and field follow-up to this project, which deserves all sacrifices for its realization, as it is one of the giant and articulated projects in the mining sector in the history of Algeria, which contributes to diversify the national economy and create new wealth.
In this context, the President of the Republic ordered to expedite the preparation and completion of the railway line from Tebessa to the port of Annaba, for the actual launch of the implementation of this important project with Chinese partners, according to the same source.
