After the talks that took place at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, the two parties signed three agreements related to the sectors of education, justice and heritage protection.

The Italian President had arrived in Algeria earlier on a two-day state visit, where he was received at Houari Boumediene International Airport by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

This visit falls within the framework of strengthening the partnership, strengthening the close cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and opening new horizons for the benefit of the two peoples.

The long-standing Algerian-Italian relations are characterized by cordiality and mutual respect, and they are invited to be further strengthened on the occasion of this visit, especially with regard to the continuation of the political dialogue that has existed between the two countries for years, with a preference for a strong and strategic partnership in various fields and sectors in order to address regional challenges.
