President Abdelmadjid Tebboune said Thursday, in Algiers, that the year 2023 will see “the strengthening of the achievements and the improvement of the living conditions of citizens, who are our top priority.”
Presiding over the opening of the works of the Government-walis meeting, at the Palais des Nations, under the theme “Local development: assessment and prospects”, the President of the Republic indicated that “the year 2023 will be marked by the acceleration of the achievement of projects and the reinforcement of assets”, adding that it will also be “the year of the improvement of the living conditions of the citizen, which remains at the top of our priorities”.
President Tebboune also stressed that this meeting aims to ” improve the efficiency of local authorities’ actions ” and to ” assess the implementation of decisions with a new vision in order to change mindsets and break with bureaucratic and parasitic practices “.
