Prime Minister arrives in Niger to participate in the 17th Extraordinary Summit of the African Union

Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, arrived today, Friday, in  Niger’s capital Niamey, in his capacity as representative of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to participate in the proceedings of the 17th Extraordinary Summit of the African Union on Industrialization and Economic Diversification as well as the Free Trade Area in Africa.

Upon his arrival at Niamey International Airport, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger, Mr. Ouhamoudou Mahamadou, and the Minister of State in the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Raisa Bola.

Aïmene Benabderrahmane is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra, the Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar, the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion Kamel Rezig, and the Algerian Ambassador to the Republic of Niger Mehdi Ben Khadda.

The African Extraordinary Summit is held under the slogan “Industrialization of Africa: Renewing Commitments for a Comprehensive and Sustainable Industrialization and Diversification.
