Prime Minister holds talks in Turkey with Palestinian Prime Minister

Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, held talks today in Konya, Turkey, on the sidelines of his participation in the opening ceremony of the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh.

During the talks, the two parties renewed their adherence to the deep and distinguished brotherly relations that bind the two sister countries and brotherly peoples, and their desire to enhance bilateral cooperation.

On this occasion, the Palestinian Prime Minister expressed the deep gratitude of the Palestinian people, leadership and government for Algeria’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause and the relentless efforts of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to achieve Palestinian reconciliation.

He also conveyed the greetings of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to his brother, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and through him to all the Algerian people.

For his part, the Prime Minister reiterated Algeria’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause, and conveyed to his Palestinian counterpart the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to his brother President Mahmoud Abbas and to all the Palestinian brothers, and his determination to make the next Arab summit in Algeria a success, whose main focus will be the Palestinian cause.
