Prime Minister received by the President of the Republic of Ghana

Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, was received today, Monday, in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, to whom he conveyed the greetings of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The discussions between the two sides focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordinate the two countries’ positions at the level of the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as other regional and international organizations, especially the African Union.

The two sides also reviewed a number of issues of common interest, particularly the situation in Africa.

Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is participating in the celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the first conference of the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held in Belgrade in 1961 and hosted by Serbia.
