
The Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmne Benabderrahmane, received today, Tuesday at the Government Palace, the Minister of Interior and Decentralization of the Republic of Niger, Alkache Alhada, who is on a working visit to Algeria within the framework of the seventh session of the Algerian-Nigerian Bilateral Borders Committee, according to a statement. The talks allowed the two parties – the same source adds – to review “the reality and prospects of bilateral relations, especially in the field of security cooperation, and to address joint efforts to develop border areas and enhance economic exchanges between the two countries.”
The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Interior, Local Governments and Urban Development, Kamal Beljoud, and the Director General of National Security, Farid Ben Cheikh.
