Prime Minister receives the President of the International Committee for the Mediterranean Games

 Prime Minister Aïmene  Benabderrahmane received, today, Sunday at the Government Palace, the President of the International Committee for the Mediterranean Games, Mr. David Tizzano, accompanied by his Secretary-General, Mr. Yakovos Philippoussis, who are on a working visit to Algeria in preparation for the nineteenth edition of the Mediterranean Games scheduled to take place in Oran in 2022, according to a statement of the Prime Minister’s services.

This meeting – the statement adds – “was an opportunity to review the progress of the preparations, the President of the International Committee expressed, on the occasion,  his satisfaction with the pace of work in the sports facilities, which are about to be fully completed, as well as the control over the various aspects of the organization, which confirms the expected success of this sporting event.”

The meeting took place in the presence of the Adviser to the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelhafid Alahem, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Abderrazak Sabgag, and the Governor of the Mediterranean Games of Oran, Mr. Mohamed Aziz Derouaz.
