The Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane, supervised today Saturday, at the International Conference Center – Abdellatif Rahal, the official inauguration of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technologies.
During the inauguration, the Prime minister emphasized the importance that public authorities attach to scientific research and technological development as an effective tool in the country’s economic and social development
This council is a constitutional advisory body, placed under the authority of the President of the Republic, charged with promoting national research in the areas of technological and scientific innovation, proposing measures that would develop national capacities for research and technological development, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of national mechanisms for valuing research results in the service of the national economy.
This constitutional body, which includes 45 members of various prestigious professional and scientific orientations inside and outside the country, seeks to propose measures that enable the development of national capacities for research and technological development and evaluate the effectiveness of national mechanisms for valuing research results in the service of the national economy in the context of sustainable development.
The council was tasked with identifying the major directions of national policy and technological development to prepare a national policy for scientific research that seeks to find solutions to the various problems facing the country, relying on a scientific group and working with the economic and social space
