Prime Minister, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, supervised, today, Monday, at the Nations Palace here in Algiers, the opening of the first national sessions on “The Situation of Childhood in Algeria.”
During his speech on the occasion, the Prime Minister affirmed the state’s commitment to continue working to promote and protect childhood, especially the right to education and health care without discrimination.
He stressed that Algeria’s choice to hold the first sessions on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Algeria’s ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child affirms Algeria’s respect for its international obligations in this regard.
