Rains in the form of thunderstorms will affect several wilayas in the east of the country starting from this afternoon, indicates a Special Weather Bulletin (BMS) issued by the National Office of Meteorology (ONM).
The orange vigilance level meteorological phenomenon concerns the wilayas of Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Sétif, Mila, Constantine, Guelma and Souk Ahras, specifies the press release from the ONM.
The validity of this bulletin will extend until Saturday March 12 at 10:00 p.m., specifies the same source, stressing that the quantities of these rains accompanied by gusts of wind and thunderstorms are estimated between 20 and 40 mm.
