Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, will participate today, Thursday, in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, in the Ministerial Conference to Support Stability in Libya, according to a ministry press release.
According to the same communiqué, the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ramtane Lamamra, came at the invitation of his Libyan counterpart, Dr. Najla El-Mangoush.
It is expected to have a wide international presence, including, in particular, the neighboring countries and many Arab and Western countries, in addition to the permanent members of the Security Council and international and regional organizations, as was indicated in the same communiqué.
This conference, which is being held at the initiative of the Libyan Executive Authority, aims to crystallize a unified international and regional position to support the Libyan vision embodied in the Libya Stability Initiative announced by the Government of National Unity.
The participation of Minister Lamamra in this conference comes to confirm Algeria’s firm position and its permanent solidarity with the brotherly Libyan people in order to restore security and stability and achieve national reconciliation.
On the sidelines of this meeting, Lamamra is expected to hold several meetings with the higher Libyan authorities, as well as with his counterparts from representatives of participating countries and organizations.
