Red Crescent: 50 tons of food and medical supplies and mattresses for residents of southwestern provinces of the country

The Algerian Red Crescent distributed more than 50 tons of foodstuffs, medical supplies and mattresses for the benefit of the residents of the southwestern provinces of the country, as part of the “Warm Winter” campaign launched by this organization.

The Algerian Red Crescent said in a statement today, Wednesday, that solidarity convoys loaded with more than 50 tons of foodstuffs, mattresses and medical supplies were sent as a first stage to the provinces of Adrar, Timimoun, El Bayadh, Naama and Beni Abbas as part of the “Warm Winter” campaign.

The same source added that these solidarity convoys, which were supervised by the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, Ibtissam Hamlawi, come “in implementation of the humanitarian program aimed at supporting needy and vulnerable people and families in various regions of the country.”
