Mahrez, who gave a sensational performance, had also a second goal ruled out for offside.
Manchester City visit Paris St-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, April 28 before visiting Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday, 1 May. Man City are at the top of the table with 77 points, 10 points ahead of its rival Man United with 67 points.
The final was played in front of 8,000 supporters, including 2,000 from each club – and it was a delight to hear noise inside Wembley’s vast arena once more.
