Four people were killed and 178 others were injured, following road accidents across several provinces in the last 24 hours, according to a tally by the General Directorate of Civil Protection.
The Civil Protection services added that 04 people died by drowning in various provinces.
In Batna province, Civil Protection Units was called for a gas leaking followed by an explosion in a two-floors house in Ain Djasser city, the explosion killed a 67-years old man.
Regarding combating the spread of Coronavirus, the Civil Protection launched several cleansing operations and awareness campaigns, recalling for the respect of preventive measures, social distancing and containments.
