The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) conducted Saturday new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the sector of Mahbes, said a statement from the Ministry of Defence.
According to communiqué number 477, “the Saharawi army units continued on Saturday their attacks against the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces by carrying out a violent bombardment in several locations in the Mahbes sector in the Guerat Ould Blal and Sabkhat Tnouchad areas.
“Advanced SPLA detachments had intensified their attacks on Friday against the targets of the Moroccan invading forces in the Mahbès sector and in the area of Oumaytir EL-Mkhinza,” the same source continued.
“SPLA attacks continue against the occupation forces, which are suffering heavy human and material losses along the wall of shame,” the statement concluded.
