Sahrawi army carries out new attacks against Moroccan occupation forces

Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) fighters carried out, on Sunday and Monday, new attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces in separate points of sand wall, “humiliation and shame”, according to a military statement No. 236 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.

The statement, issued by the Saharawi Press Agency, indicated that the fighters of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army “carried out new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces, in the sectors of Smara, Hawza, Awsard and Mahbas.”

The statement said, “Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army shelled, yesterday, Sunday, the entrenched forces of the occupation forces in Sabkhat al-Akrich area, as well as in Miran area in Smara sector,” adding that “they also targeted the occupation forces in Rouss Ben Zakka area, and bombed their locations in Rouss Arbib al-Kaa area.” and its entrenchments in the areas of Akleeb Al-Chak, Awsard sector and Lektitra, in Hawza sector.

The statement of the Saharawi Ministry of Defense added, “The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army bombed today, Monday, the entrenchments of the occupation forces in Laakd area in Mahbas sector.”

The statement of the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense concluded by emphasizing “the continued attacks by the units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army, targeting Moroccan occupation forces, which sustained heavy losses in lives and equipment along the wall of humiliation and shame.”
