Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army carried out targeted attacks on the Moroccan occupation forces’ entrenchment in Mahbas sector, according to Military Statement No. 614, issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.
The statement – which was reported by the Sahrawi News Agency – highlighted that on Monday, the units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation army in the Akrara-Fersik region, in Mahbas sector, while other units of the army focused their bombardment against the Moroccan occupation forces in the Sabkhat Tnushad area, also in Mahbas sector.
Advance detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army focused their attacks on Sunday, on the Moroccan occupation forces in the Um Edrica sector and in the south of Tawarachit.
The attacks of the Sahrawi army continue, targeting the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces, which incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment along the sand wall (humiliation and shame), the statement adds.
