Sahrawi army carries out new targeted attacks on entrenchments of Moroccan occupation forces in Hawza sector

Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army carried out yesterday, Monday, new and targeted attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in separate locations of the Hawza sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment, according to military statement No. 509 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.

The military statement, which was reported by the Saharawi News Agency (SPA), indicated that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army targeted the entrenchments of the occupation soldiers in the Aksaibi al-Nakhla area in the Hawza sector, while other detachments focused their bombardments on the occupation soldiers in the Sidra Tarkaneh area in the Hawza sector.

The Sahrawi army forces, the statement adds, focused their bombardments on the enemy’s positions in the Ben Zakka area, and the headquarters of the 69th Occupation Corps in the Lemketeb area in the Hawza sector.

Advance detachments of the Sahrawi army units had earlier focused their attacks on the occupying Moroccan forces, in the Mahbas sector, and in the Ikrara region of Fersik, Laakd as well as Akwera Ould Ebel.

The Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army continues to attack the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces, which have sustained heavy losses in lives and equipment along the sand wall (the wall of humiliation and shame), since the resumption of the armed struggle, in response to the Moroccan blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement on November 13, 2020.
