Sahrawi army heavily strikes Moroccan military base in Lathrathiat area of El Kalta region

Units of Saharawi People’s Liberation Army heavily pounded a military base in Lathrathiat area in El Kalta region, as plumes of smoke were seen rising from the targeted base, according to military statement No. 227 issued today, Saturday, by the Sahrawi Ministry of National Defense.

According to the statement, which was reported by the Saharawi Press Agency (SPS), units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army launched targeted attacks on the bases and entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation soldiers along the wall of sand “humiliation and shame“.

The source added that the units of the Sahrawi army “pounded yesterday, Friday, the area of ​ Aoudiat Al Ziat in the Al-Farsiyah region,” and “the same units targeted the Akouira Ould Abelal area and the Akrara Al-Farsik area in the Mahbas region.”

Last week, members of the Sahrawi army launched air strikes against the military base No. 04 in Kalb al-Nass in tAwsard region, where plumes of smoke were seen rising from the base, according to the same source.

In addition, the statement stresses that, “The attacks of the Saharawi People’s Liberation Army units continue to target Moroccan occupation forces, which have sustained heavy losses in lives and equipment along the wall of sand humiliation and shame.”
