Sahrawi army: new attacks against forces of Moroccan occupier in Smara and Haouza

Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army (APLS) carried out new attacks on Saturday against the positions and entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the sectors of Smara and Haouza, indicated the military communiqué n 502 issued by the ministry of the Saharawi Defence.

According to the statement relayed by the Sahrawi news agency SPS, “SPLA units targeted the forces of the Moroccan occupier with intense bombardments in the region of Khenka Houria (Smara sector) as well as in Rous Leksibine and Lemkiteb (Haouza sector).

On Friday, the Saharawi forces carried out “intense bombardments” against the Moroccan occupation forces in the Rous Sebti, Akouira Ould Blal and Oum Dakan regions in the Mahbes and Oum Adrika sectors.

The attacks of the Saharawi Army are continuing against the positions of the occupying forces which are suffering “heavy human and material losses” along the wall of shame, the statement concludes.
