Units of Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army launched, during the last 24 hours, a targeted shelling against eight entrenchments of Moroccan occupation soldiers along the separating sand wall (humiliation and shame wall), according to Military Communiqué No. 222 issued by Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.
The military communiqué stated that the units of the Sahrawi army targeted, on Sunday, a position of the Moroccan forces, in Bankarat area in Smara sector.
The statement added that the Sahrawi army continued, on Monday, demolishing the bases of the Moroccan forces in the area of Lamkhibthat in El-Kelta sector, and heavily bombarded a logistical support point of the Moroccan forces, in the North of Lamkhibthat area of Al-Kalta sector, in addition to targeting the entrenchments of the occupation forces in Ouedi El-Zayat area, Al-Farsiya sector.
Saharawi forces launched a heavy bombardment targeting the occupation concentration in Ross bin Omaira area, Farsiya sector, as well as Domas area, in Bakari sector, in addition to targeting Akouira Ould Abelal area, in Mahbas sector, and Laakad area, also in Mahbas sector.
