Units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army launched focused attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation soldiers stationed in the sand wall (humiliation and shame), specifically in the Oum Drika sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment, according to the military statement No. 613 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense on Sunday.

The statement, which was reported by the Saharawi News Agency (SPA), indicated that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army targeted with violent shelling the entrenchments of the occupation soldiers in the area south of Tawarachit in the Oum Drica sector.

Advance detachments of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army had focused their attacks earlier, targeting the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas and Awsard sectors.

The attacks of the Sahrawi army continue, targeting the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation forces, which “incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment” along the wall of humiliation and shame, the statement adds.
