The units of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army carried out focused attacks targeting the holes and trenching sites of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector, according to Military Statement No. 488 issued by the Sahrawi Ministry of Defense.
The statement – which was reported by the Saharawi News Agency (SPA) on Sunday – highlighted that advanced detachments of the Sahrawi army “targeted with heavy shelling the center of entrenching occupation soldiers stationed in the Akwera Ould Abelal area in the Mahbas sector.”
The Sahrawi Ministry of Defense affirms in its statement, “The attacks of the Sahrawi People’s Liberation Army continue, targeting the strongholds of the Moroccan occupation, which incurred heavy losses in lives and equipment along the wall of humiliation and shame (the sand wall).”
