Seat transport: Health pass mandatory starting from December 6th

The Ministry of transport decided on Wednesday to include the health pass (proof of vaccination) in the conditions of travel by sea transport, starting from December 6th.

“As instructed by the President of the Republic and the recommendations of the scientific committee to follow up the development of covid-19 pandemic, and in accordance with the statement issued by the First Ministry on 30 November 2021, the Ministry of Transport informs all citizens wishing to travel by sea transport, to provide the health passport (proof of vaccination), in addition to the applicable procedures (PCR and diagnostic testing) as a condition for entering and leaving the national territory, which will come into effect from Monday, 6 December 2021.”

In its statement, the Ministry of transport also called on all citizens and transport users to respect preventive measures and health protocols, especially the mandatory wearing of a protective mask, which will be strictly monitored by qualified staffs during travel.
