Security services of Algiers deals with 1,047 drug and hallucinogen crimes during the month of Ramadan

Security services of the province of Algiers dealt, during the month of Ramadan, with 1,047 cases of drug and hallucinogen crimes involving 1074 people, according to a toll reported by the General Directorate of National Security, today, Saturday.

The toll indicated that the security services of the province of Algiers dealt, during the month of Ramadan, with 1,047 cases of drug and hallucinogen crimes involving 1074 people, with the seizure of 8,780 kg of cannabis, 4506 hallucinogen tablets, 05.7 grams of cocaine and 25 grams of heroin.

The same services also recorded during the same period – according to the toll – 248 cases related to carrying banned cutting weapons, in which 248 people were involved with the seizure of 303 cutting weapons of various types and sizes.

It was indicated, in this regard, that the security services of the Capital were able on the other hand to deal with 1295 cases that resulted in the arrest of 1,322 suspects, while 87 persons were placed in temporary detention.
