The security services of the province of Algiers managed, during the month of June, to seize nearly 8 kilograms of cannabis and more than 20 thousand hallucinogen tablets, according to a port issued today, Wednesday, by the same services.
The same source indicated that “approximately 8 kg of cannabis and more than 20,800 hallucinogen tablets were seized, along with more than 500 grams of cocaine and heroin and 14 vials of narcotic solutions.”
After completing the legal procedures, “the suspects were brought before the competent judicial authorities in the region,” adds the same report.
Meanwhile, the security services of the province of Algiers, represented by the state authority of public security, recorded, during the same period, 12,157 traffic violations and 61 physical traffic accidents, which led to the death of 5 people and the injury of 61 others.
The Provincial Department of the Public Police also carried out 1406 monitoring operations of organized commercial activities and implemented 126 closure decisions issued by the competent authorities.
The report pointed out that the security services put the emergency line 17, the hot line 1548 and the “Allo Police” application at the citizen’s disposal to report.
