The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the sovereign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, supervised today, Sunday in Algiers, the signing ceremony of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries.
The signed agreements included a memorandum of understanding on bilateral political consultations, an agreement on mutual exemption from visas for holders of diplomatic passports, a memorandum of understanding between the Diplomatic and International Relations Institute and the Jordanian Diplomatic Institute, as well as a joint cooperation program between the Algerian News Agency (APS) and the Jordan News Agency.
An agreement was also signed on the mutual recognition of qualification certificates for seafarers, curricula and levels of maritime training.
