Signature of agreement between Ministry of Higher Education and Algerian Red Crescent to encourage students to volunteer

An agreement was signed today, Monday between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Algerian Red Crescent, with the aim of encouraging students to volunteer and participate in first aid training courses.

This agreement, which was signed by the Secretary-General of the Ministry, Abdelhakim Bentellis, and the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, s Hamlaoui, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamel Badari, aims to urge students to participate in the training in first aid and the programs that the Crescent has written under the slogan “Citizen University”.

On this occasion, Mr. Badari explained that the signing of such agreements proves that the Algerian University is “a citizen university that always contributes to work towards improving its social and economic environment.”

For her part, Mrs. Hamlaoui highlighted the role of the student in serving his community, as well as his contribution to achieving sustainable development, stressing the importance of concretize the slogan “Citizen University” on the ground for the benefit of the citizen.
