
Sonatrach announced, today, Monday, in a statement, that it has put out a fire in the industrial area of Skikda.
The statement said, “Today, a fire broke out in the afternoon in the industrial area of Skikda, during the process of supplying a truck with xylan at the level of the loading station of the RA1K refining complex.”
The same source indicated that “the incident was directly controlled by Sonatrach’s internal security intervention units.”
The statement pointed out that this accident “left three wounded with burns of varying severity, who were urgently evacuated to Skikda Hospital.”
The same source added that “the accident did not cause any other material losses.”
