Sonatrach signed 57 agreements with university institutions across the country during 2021, the oil company said today.
The agreements are part of Sonatrach’s strategy to “support National University institutions and promote scientific partnership between the company and the University,” according to a post on the company on its official Facebook page.
Sonatrach also pointed out that it had signed a general statement of the policy on promotion of local content and national integration on October 10, 2021, through which it outlined strategic objectives to be achieved on the basis of the commitments adopted to enhance the rate of national integration in its activities.
Raising the national integration rate would encourage the development of local content in the company’s contracting procedures as well as maximize reliance on local production for goods and services.
In this regard, Sonatrach has signed six contracts with subsidiaries of the company with a total value of more than 105 billion DZD, adds the same source.
