Speaker of the National People’s Assembly , Ibrahim Boughali, received on Tuesday the senior Palestinian judge and adviser to the Palestinian President for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations, Mahmoud Sedki El Habbach, said a statement of the Assembly.
“At the beginning of his speech, the speaker of the Assembly reviewed Algeria’s most prominent and unconditional support for the Palestinian cause, such as assisting late leader Yasser Arafat accessing to the podium of the UN General Assembly, as well as the declaration of the establishment of a Palestinian state, not forgetting the participation of People’s National Army in the Arab wars” added the same source.
In this context, Boughali called on Palestinian forces and factions to “unite in order to stand against the occupation plans aimed at displacing and dispersing the Palestinian people and obliterating the Islamic monuments of the holy city”.
