
Minister of Justice Abderrachid Tabi received Sunday, in Algiers, the president of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ) Marc Schmitz, on the occasion of the holding of the International Seminar of Judicial Officers, organized in Tamanrasset, the Ministry said in a statement.
“The Minister of Justice, Abderrachid Tabi, received on Sunday 05 March 2023 at the Ministry of Justice, the president of the International Union of Judicial Officers (UIHJ), Marc Schmitz, on the occasion of the holding of the International Colloquium of the judicial officers, organized in Tamanrasset under the slogan, Modernization of the occupation of the judicial officer, a support to electronic justice”, specifies the communiqué.
The UIHJ is an international non-governmental organisation, created in 1952. It currently brings together 103 organisations and bodies from 98 countries, including Algeria. The Union has the status of observer within the United Nations Organisation (UN) and is also a member in several organisations and a consultant to several international bodies.
The meeting focused on the ways and means to consolidate the cooperation between the National Chamber of Judicial Officers (CNHJ) and the UIHJ regarding modernization of the management tools and processes of the activities of the judicial officers in Algeria, in application of the sectoral strategy aiming at developing electronic justice.
