The Algerian production fair held from 19 to 24 January in Nouakchott (Mauritania) ended on Tuesday.
The closing ceremony took place in the presence of the Algerian ambassador to Mauritania, representatives of Mauritanian official bodies, representatives of the Algerian-Mauritanian Business Council, economic operators from both countries, as well as representatives of civil society, according to the Ministry of Trade and Export Promotion.
According to the organisers, this fair was an opportunity to promote Algerian products from different economic sectors, and to give participating Algerian companies the opportunity to establish fruitful partnerships.
Seven (7) agreements in different sectors were signed between Algerian and Mauritanian companies, as part of the Algerian-Mauritanian business forum organised on the sidelines of this economic event.
These agreements cover various sectors including “cement, batteries, windows and doors and food products”, said the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion, Kamel Rezig, who inaugurated the opening of this fair last Thursday.
