The Urban Security Services in Riad Al-Fath, affiliated with the security of the administrative district of Sidi M’hamed (Algiers), have neutralized a gang that specializes in stealing motorcycles, according to a statement of the same services.
The same source indicated that “while carrying out their patrols, the attention of the police was drawn to a group of people chasing a person to steal a motorcycle. After the suspect was arrested and interrogated, he disclosed the identity of his two partners in the thefts.
The operation made possible – according to the statement – to “arrest the second and third suspects, with the recovery of 3 stolen motorbikes, which were hidden in the woods of the forest,” noting that “after completing the legal procedures, the suspects were presented before the competent regional prosecution.”
