The work of the national conference on industrial recovery, organized by the Ministry of Industry under the slogan “Together to rise the challenge”, was concluded Monday in Algiers.
The closing ceremony of this conference took place with the participation of the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Aïmene Benabderrahmane, and several ministers, led by the Minister of Industry, Ahmed Zaghdar.
This event, organized at the Palais des Nations (regarding opening and speeches) and the International Conference Center (regarding discussion sessions and workshops), aims to establish a strategic vision for the industrial sector and to mobilize actors around the objectives of economic recovery.
In his closing speech, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, affirmed the government’s commitment to study all the conference’s recommendations and to apply them on the ground within a practical plan in which the objectives are defined precisely and clearly, as well as the deadlines and tools for the implementation, adding that this conference will be followed by other conferences on agricultural recovery, to ensure food security, as well as a seminar on tourism recovery and another on mining recovery.
For his part, the Minister of Industry confirmed, in his closing speech, that the work of this conference, which included nearly 700 participants from businessmen, managers of public and private companies, heads of financial institutions, university researchers, senior executives from various ministries, specialized support and accompaniment bodies and social partners, was characterized by “frankness and objectivity.”
