The Council of the Nation participates in emergency meeting of Arab Parliamentary Union on Israel’s aggressions on Al-Aqsa Mosque

Member of the Council of the Nation, Abdelkrim Qoreichi, took part in an emergency meeting of the Arab Parliamentary Union today, Wednesday, to discuss “the conditions that Al-Qods Al-Sharif (Al-Aqsa Mosque) is going through, and the barbaric practices that the Palestinian brothers are subjected to by the Israeli occupation authorities.
The representative of the Council of the Nation affirmed in his intervention, via videoconference, Algeria’s condemnation and denunciation of the dangerous proportions that the situation in occupied Palestine is taking, and the persistent provocations that the Zionist entity is adopting towards the Palestinian people, through its insistence on continuing its satanic settlement plans, at the expense of the legitimate landowners ”.
Abdelkrim Qoreichi deplored “the negativity of human rights organizations and some international bodies that have always interfered in the affairs of sovereign states in the name of human rights and peoples’ freedoms, as well as the failure of the international community towards an entity that infringes the law and violates human rights and practices violence, intimidation, expulsion and displacement in front of the world’s eyes and ears ”.
The Council of the Nation’s member also reaffirmed the steadfast and firm position of the government and people of Algeria under the leadership of Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, President of the Republic, towards the just Palestinian cause, which backs the non-negotiable right of the Palestinian people to establish their state with Al-Qods as its capital, he called for intensifying efforts and having sincere intentions to put an end to this human tragedy which has become a stain that tarnish every noble approach claimed by the international community towards the peoples of the world.
This came as the Council of the Arab League called, at the end of an extraordinary session held yesterday at ministerial level, on the United Nations and specialized international organizations, including the Security Council, to assume legal, moral and humanitarian responsibilities in order to put an immediate end to the Israeli aggression and provide state protection for the Palestinian people and preserve their rights of worship, security and peace in the region and the world.

The Council strongly condemned the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against defenseless Muslim worshipers in the holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa, which escalated dangerously during the past weeks and days of the blessed month of Ramadan and caused dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries and arrests among worshipers and the storming and desecration of the sanctity of the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Council decided to stand in honor, pride and gratitude to the blessed children and heroes of the Palestinian people who are resisting in the occupied city of Jerusalem and those who defend with their bare chests the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy Arab, Islamic and Christian sites and shrines in the face of the brutal and systematic crimes and attacks perpetrated by the Israeli authorities and occupation forces in the holy city.
