The death toll from the traffic accident that occurred yesterday, Friday, on the municipal road No. 25 in the municipality of Salmana (south of Djelfa), has risen to eleven (11) deaths, according to what was reported today, Saturday, by the Health Directorate.
The province’s Health Director said that the number of victims of this traffic accident rose to 11, after the number was put at 8 deaths yesterday, Friday, adding that the victims who died today, Saturday, despite the intensive medical care, are two children aged 9 and 12-year-old and a 38-year-old woman.
For his part the governor of the province of Djelfa praised the efforts made by the various security and even military forces that intervened at the scene of the accident, as well as the medical staff that contributed to assissting the injured.
Meanwhile, the National Gendarmerie has opened an investigation to find out the causes and circumstances of this fatal accident.
